For an age-friendly community

A donation to the Prescott-Russell Community Services Foundation is an investment in an age-friendly community. Please help us in helping our seniors by donating today!

The Foundation has been in operation since 1999. The Foundation’s mission is to financially contribute to home support activities provided to people aged 55 and over and adults with special needs by Prescott-Russell Community Services (PRCS).

Message from the President of the Foundation

Aging well at home is what most people want for their old days. But sometimes, a person needs a helping hand to stay in their own home, safely and with dignity.

Did you know that Prescott-Russell Community Services (PRCS) offers a wide range of services such as transportation to medical appointments, delivery of nutritious meals, grief support, day programs for people with dementia and respite for caregivers? Many of these programs are free or offered at minimal cost.

In 2024-2025, PRCS provided 60,000 services to nearly 2,600 seniors! But not all of these services are subsidized by the province.

This is where the Prescott-Russell Community Services Foundation comes in. We want to ensure that our seniors who are struggling to make ends meet can receive the services they need to age well in their own homes, if that is their wish.

Help us help our elderly by making a donation today!

Denis Paquette

“Times are tough for everyone. I can’t imagine having to choose between a good nutritious meal and the cost of transportation to get to a doctor’s appointment. I support the PRCS Foundation because I want our region to be a great place to grow old.”   — Denis Paquette, President of the PRCS Foundation
