Ways of giving

Gifts for aging well at home

Ageing well at home, with dignity, is what most people want.

By making a donation to the Prescott-Russell Community Services Foundation (PRCS Foundation), you are investing in an age-friendly community.

Your donations improve the quality of life for seniors in Prescott-Russell. Thanks to your generosity, we can help some low-income seniors gain access to essential products and services such as transportation to medical appointments, nutritious meals or
incontinence underwear.

The Foundation also raises funds to help PRCS purchase essential equipment such as vehicles for transporting clients.

You can help the Prescott-Russell Community Services Foundation in many ways.

Donation to the PRCS Foundation General Fund

Your donation will help us meet the most pressing needs of our senior clientele.  You can make a one-time donation, or choose to give the same amount each month. We will issue a charitable donation receipt for any amount of $10 or more.

You can use our online form to make a donation. We use the Zeffy platform to receive online donations.

Gift in memory of a loved one

You can pay tribute to someone who has passed away by making a donation in their memory. This gesture honours the values of a loved one by supporting a cause close to their heart. If you wish, we will inform the family about your donation by sending them a condolence card, but we will not disclose the amount donated.

We will send a charitable donation receipt for any amount of $10 or more.

You can use our secure online form to make a donation.

Fundraising activities

You can help us by participating in our fundraising activities, such as our annual raffle. To find out more about our upcoming events, visit our Events page.

You can also organize an event with proceeds going to the PRCS Foundation. It’s often a simple and enjoyable way to raise funds for a cause close to your heart. Whether it’s a spaghetti supper or a gourmet dinner, a dance party or a sports challenge, fundraising ideas are almost endless!

Do you have an idea for a fundraising event? Please contact Sylvie Lefebvre, Executive Director, at 613-632-0939 to discuss your project.
