    Prescott and Russell Community Services is looking for Personal Support Workers (PSW) for the expansion of the assisted living service <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

    Part-time positions (day, evening and weekend shifts)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Reporting to the Executive Director, PSW of the Assisted Living Service is responsible for providing person-centered home support and personal care services to frail seniors, so that they can remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible.<\/p>\n

    Main functions: <\/u><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Provide basic hygienic practices and apply the principles of body mechanics<\/li>\n
    • Assist with personal care such as, but not limited to, bathing, dressing, transferring, walking, grooming, and bedside care as needed<\/li>\n
    • Assist with basic activities of daily living, supporting the safety of clients and oneself<\/li>\n
    • Supervise activities of daily living<\/li>\n
    • Perform housekeeping tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Requirements:<\/u><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Hold a high school diploma<\/li>\n
      • Training as a Personal Support worker<\/li>\n
      • Experience in a similar position is an asset<\/li>\n
      • Recent CPR will be an asset<\/li>\n
      • Reliability, autonomy, respect, discretion, empathy and active listening<\/li>\n
      • Bilingual<\/li>\n
      • Must own a car and a valid driver’s license<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Place of work:<\/u><\/p>\n

        • Main office in Hawkesbury with services provided at customers’ homes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Conditions:<\/u><\/p>\n

          • Criminal record check – vulnerable sector, dated within the last 6 months<\/li>\n
          • Salary: $20.29 to $26.01 per hour, as per the collective agreement<\/li>\n
          • Start date: as soon as possible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
