Grocery Delivery
How does the grocery delivery service work?
- Check the availability of the grocery delivery service with the coordinator of your sector.
- Contact your grocery store to have your order prepared. The following stores usually accept advance orders: Giant Tiger, Walmart and Yours Independant Grocer. You will have to make payment arrangement with the store.
- Confirm the delivery time with your coordinator.
Is there a fee for grocery delivery?
Yes, the fee is $12.00 per delivery within the same town. There is an additional fee of $0.49/km for out-of-town deliveries. Fees are payable at the time of delivery.
If the driver has to pick up orders at more than one store, a $6 fee applies to each additional stop. For example, if you placed an order at Giant Tiger and another one at Walmart to be delivered at the same time, the delivery fee will be $18.

Meals on Wheels Home Delivery
We offer a home delivery service of hot and frozen meals. The prepared meals are nutritious and balanced. The delivery of these good meals also allows you to maintain a social contact. Meals are prepared by local catering services and delivery is provided by volunteers. This service is offered to people aged 55 and older and adults with special needs living in the Prescott-Russell area.

We will send you an invoice at the end of the month. Drivers do not accept payment upon delivery. We accept the following methods of payment:
