Eating well is so good – and important! Is a health problem turning cooking or going to the grocery store into a challenge? Is loneliness affecting your motivation to prepare yourself a good meal? You can use our Meals on Wheels and grocery delivery services to meet your food needs.
Grocery Delivery
Our grocery delivery service is offered Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This service is offered to people aged 55 and older and adults with special needs living in the Prescott-Russell area.
How does the grocery delivery service work?
- Check the availability of the grocery delivery service with the coordinator of your sector.
- Contact your grocery store to have your order prepared. The following stores usually accept advance orders: Walmart and Yours Independant Grocer. You will have to make payment arrangement with the store.
- Confirm the delivery time with your coordinator.
Is there a fee for grocery delivery?
Yes, the fee is $16.00 per delivery within the same town. There is an additional fee of $0.55/km for out-of-town deliveries. Fees are payable at the time of delivery.
If the driver has to pick up orders at more than one store, a $8 fee applies to each additional stop.

Home Meal Delivery – Meals on Wheels
We offer a home delivery service of hot and frozen meals. The prepared meals are nutritious and balanced.
Meals are prepared by local catering services and delivery is provided by volunteers.

At the end of each month, an invoice will be sent to you for all the orders you have placed.
