Assessment and design of accessible housing
The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) has produced a guide entitled Maintaining Seniors’ Independence Through Home Adaptations. This self-assessment identifies the types of difficulties that older people may experience at home. For each difficulty raised, the guide presents ideas for adapting the home and the environment.
You can download a copy of the guide from the CMHC website.
